Reading – Window to the Classroom
Welcome to our Reading Window to the Classroom, where we share how we teach and develop reading at Morley using our ASPIRE reading approach.
Reading is at the heart of our curriculum, and our ASPIRE framework ensures that every child develops the key skills needed to become a confident, fluent reader. In these videos, Mrs Richards will guide you through how we teach fluency, comprehension, and reading for pleasure, as well as how you can support your child at home.
Our aim is to inspire a love of reading while equipping children with the strategies they need to Ask Questions, Summarise, Predict, Infer, Retrieve, and Explain—the core elements of ASPIRE.
