Year 6 Leavers Statement

Technology at Morley Primary School is used across all subjects in the curriculum as a part of all children’s entitlement.  In today’s world, the majority of children use iPads or other tablets/laptops with ease in their everyday life. We believe it is important to ensure children can learn with the technology they are so familiar with – we must remember that children have never known life without being able to ‘Google it’, or have thousands of songs or photos on a small pocket-sized device. All of the children at Morley Primary are further given the opportunity to master their learning in the digital world by children app-smashing to create multi-modal presentations in all curricula areas, presenting work to the world safely using Seesaw and online blogs, coding efficiently and effectively and treat the internet with respect. We ensure our digital learners make the most of the internet and in our work with Google Internet Legends we ensure we teach children to ‘make smart decisions and empower them to use the web safely and wisely’. Therefore, our goal for children at Morley is that they can become confident digital world explorers and communicators’
