There is a lot of cooking going on downstairs. The school is full of wonderful aromas drifting up to my office. Class 1 have been baking all week, making bread, cakes and biscuits for this afternoon's Royal Banquet. Class 2 are currently making Tudor mincemeat pies (with mince, not our modern mincemeat) as part of their topic, and tomorrow is Class 3's turn. Mrs Fenlon has been really busy as yesterday, she was teaching watercolour to Class 3!
